legionarius (adj.)

1. Legionary, as in ‘legionary centurion’ or ‘legionary cavalryman’ (AE 1976, 540: centurio l.; CIL VIII, 3260: eques l.). 2. A legionary soldier (where miles is assumed to accompany legionarius).
